Bahamas Residency overview

The Government of The Bahamas will grant temporary residence status (without the right to work) on submission of the relevant application. The Bahamas imposes no obligation on a temporary resident to spend any minimum time period in the country. Approval is normally provided within 8 weeks of the submission of the application.

Approvals will be granted for an initial one-year period with subsequent renewals for three years.
